THE DARK PLACES

A newsletter from Benjamin L. Smith

Strange stories. Unquiet places. Things best left unexplained.

Welcome to The Dark Places

Hello, and welcome.

Whether you found me through one of my free stories, stumbled across my website, or arrived by some other mysterious route, I’m glad you’re here.

Every fortnight, I’ll share a little of what’s happening in my writing world, introduce you to stories and authors I’ve encountered along the way, and point you towards a selection of free and discounted fiction that might be worth your time.

My own books tend to occupy the spaces where ordinary life encounters something rather less ordinary. Supernatural mysteries, strange places, old secrets and the occasional person who really should have known better.

The stories featured here won’t all be mine, and they won’t all be supernatural. But I hope you’ll find something that catches your interest.

Make yourself comfortable. Have a look around.

You never know what you might discover.
